Hi to all my new friends.

My name is Tara Gillan, a mom with a 19 year old daughter in college and a 13 year old son.  Balancing motherhood and working is always a challenge though the last few years I have experienced more traveling that has not only opened my eyes to new places but has provided me with useful tips for traveling, and a new appreciation of family life.

I have opened up this site to be a forum for discussion of travel ideas, places to go, and useful tips and tools that I use in my everyday life.  As I continue to develop I invite you to join me in this wonderful journey so we can all learn, bounce around new ideas, suggestions, etc.
