Thoughtful, interesting and exciting excursions are the key to making the best out of your vacation. I truly want to make the most of our time and something we will all talk about as you don’t know what tomorrow brings. I always want to sort out something that will leave the crew talking about the excursion, big smiles, and the happiness of doing them – I must admit, I crushed it with the family on this trip!
Big Red Quad Bike Rental This one goes on my must do list and I strongly suggest you book this excursion when visiting the UAE. We all had a blast and the setting will take your breath away. They offer pickup and drop off at your hotel. It is about an hour drive from Dubai (the site is just outside of Abu Dhabi) however it’s worth it. All of your communications are through WhatsApp (which I have quickly learned is the preferred method of communication overseas) and cash payment is due on arrival.
You will pull up to a small set of stores which does not seem much at first sight – in fact you would think they dropped you off at the wrong location if it wasn’t for the ATVs parked out front. The staff are super friendly and provide you with a quick tutorial and off you will go. There are two guides which are super helpful. We were all shocked at how magnificent the setting was as we were speeding through the desert. There were some moments that I doubted my ATV skills however we all gained confidence as we went along. We did the 90 min tour and they stopped at the sunset and took some breathtaking pictures of us. Words can not describe the beauty of the desert. My only regret is that we didn’t bring a go pro cam. Our guides Ashraf and Budica not only were kind, there were great photographers and helped us with our novice skills. This excursion we will definitely repeat on our next visit.
