Pick a day that is not in high demand. I have gone so far to directly call the ticket box office and ask their advice. TKTS is a ticket booth that offers same-day discount tickets to Broadway and off-Broadway shows. Plum Benefits is a ticket service that offers special discounts to corporate employees and members. All city employess have access to Plum Benefits.
